Abstract Introduction Obesity is one of the biggest public health problems in world, with incidence obesity estimated to be around 30% some countries. There a well-established link between Obstructive Sleep Apnea and obesity. This due many factors including narrower airway because fat deposits this region, as well decreased muscle activity. Subjective sleepiness measured Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS) also associated an increased risk OSA. are studies that suggest ESS has better predictive value men than women detect Disordered Breathing, but our knowledge, there no menopausal Methods A retrospective study was performed using data from menopause clinic at University Hospital Monterrey, Mexico. All patients evaluated screening protocol sleep disorders, following tools: Pittsburgh Quality Index (PSQI), STOP-BANG questionnaire, (ESS). Results Data were collected 89 patients, identifying total 36 (40.44%) had BMI equal or higher 30 kg/m2. Of these 28 (77.7%) questionnaire 3 more positive answers. Nevertheless, only 6 (16.6%) 10 most having subjective hypersomnia detected through tool.
